Describe your character in detail, include equipment and abilities, go with the flow, or make corrections. Have fun.
The game is played on a 1x1 or 2x2 battlefield. Use terrain to break up the line of sight. The player with the lowest total power rating takes the first turn, then play goes to the left, alternating between units of each player until all units have gone. Characters with a power rating of 49 or less start with an additional D20 in their dice pool.
Choose 1-5 miniatures. Grab a set of polyhedral dice for each mini you are using and add those dice to your dice pool. Figures are deployed starting in a corner of the board for each player up to 4 inches in.
Figures have 2 actions on their turn. When a figure uses a character action, they must make a difficulty roll. Throw any one die. If the action is successful the dice are kept, otherwise they are lost and cannot be rolled again. Rolling the highest number on a die is a "critical", and always succeeds. You cannot use the same character action twice in a row. Actions can be any combination of:
When a figure is attacked with a ranged or melee ability, it can roll a die to defend. If they roll higher the attack does not hit and the die is kept, if they roll lower, the die is lost.
When a figure has 0 HP or there are no more action dice available, they are downed and can no longer take action.
Players alternate turns with figures. Play goes for 6 turns max, until only one Figure is left standing, or an alternate win condition is met.
